“Come fly with us!” Dunking Devils are back in Abu Dhabi

Jumping higher than the basketball hoop and perform amazing tricks in the air. That’s how it looks like a day in the office for the Dunking Devils, the acrobat dunking team that will showcase their skills at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final. The basketball event will take place on 27-28 of October, in Zayed Sports City – International Tennis Centre, daily starting at 5PM.

The magicians of trampoline slam-dunks have more than 900 shows in the past 10 years and they traveled in over 35 countries on five continents to amaze people from all over the world with their high-flying abilities.

“We are happy that for the second year in a row we can entertain the people from Abu Dhabi during the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final. For us it was a crazy year, we practiced for a lot of new tricks and we are ready to show everybody what we can do and we invite people to come fly with us”, said Marko Knafelc, the manager of the team and one of the oldest members of the gang that was established in 2004.

Dunking Devils will have three shows in each of the competition days, that will be filled with basketball games, contests for spectators, a cheer dance contest, a slam dunk contest and raffles.. The access is free of charge and spectators can enjoy their own “fan zone” with kids area, basketball courts, photo booth, mascots and more.

Abu Dhabi hosts for the second time in a row the pinnacle event of the FIBA 3×3 World Tour. The 12 best teams in the world will compete for two days for the pride to represent their city, the USD 30,000 winners cheque and a chance to be crowned FIBA 3×3 World Tour Champions. A win at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final also means a guaranteed spot at the 2016 FIBA 3×3 All Stars.
