Bring your game! The final battle for FIBA 3×3 World Tour

The best six teams from Abu Dhabi 3×3 Tour will battle on Saturday, June 18, for a place in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour, the global 3×3 competition that will end for the second year in a row in Abu Dhabi, with the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final, 28-29 of October.

UAE All Star, with a new shining 3×3 star, former NBA player, Donte Greene, are the heavy favorites, while the former winners of the World Tour Final, Al Wahda, are ready to prove once again that are the best 3×3 team in the world.

It will be a duel for the ages, that you don’t want to miss, starting at 8 PM in ADNEC, as part of the Abu Dhabi Sports Festival. All the basketball spectators have free admission and free parching and can also take part in different contest with prizes.

Mascots will also be present, as part of the entertainment, giving the whole event a family atmosphere.

Interesting games are expected also for U15 and U18 categories, as the future 3×3 stars proved during the last two weeks that they have the necessary skills to become part of the 3×3 basketball elite.

Abu Dhabi 3×3 Tour was a way to celebrate basketball and competition in the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center and also a way to stay active and healthy playing the most popular urban team sport in the world, 3×3 basketball.

More than 400 players registered for both tournaments, in total, showing the popularity of 3×3 basketball in Abu Dhabi and UAE and paving the way to another successful FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final.

Abu Dhabi Sports Council and UAE Basketball Association are the two organizations that contributed to the success of this events.

Next week, all the basketball lovers from Abu Dhabi are invited to be part of the international tournament, Abu Dhabi 3×3 Challenger, where some of the best teams from GCC, Europe and Asia will battle also for two places in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour.
