Abu Dhabi 3×3 Basketball Tour and Abu Dhabi 3×3 Challenger, the FIBA 3×3 endorsed series of events, will be again part of the sports scene of Abu Dhabi during the month of June.

On the way to the biggest event of the year, the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final, that will take place in October, Abu Dhabi Sports Council is offering every basketball player from United Arab Emirates the chance to get the taste of an official FIBA competition.

Official basketball hoops and courts, official balls and the organizing team that was part of the last year’s World Tour Final are ready to offer anyone the ultimate 3×3 basketball experience.

The events will be part of the Abu Dhabi Sports Festival 2016, that will take place in ADNEC during the month of June and the full schedule is as follows:

Abu Dhabi 3×3 Tour – Quest 1: 10-11 June
Abu Dhabi 3×3 Tour – Quest 2: 16-17 June
Abu Dhabi 3×3 Tour – Quest Final: 18 June
Abu Dhabi 3×3 Challenger: 24-25 June

The registrations for the two Quests can be made online at http://www.abudhabi3x3.com, are free of charge and all the players will receive and official game jersey.

Four age categories are available, for both men and women – U13, U15, U18 and Open, and the best teams from each Quest will qualify for the Quest Final on 18 June.
The winner of the Quest Final will represent Abu Dhabi in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Master.

Abu Dhabi 3×3 Challenger it’s a professional event and the participation is invitational. Some of the best teams from GCC, Europe and Asia will take part, while top players from the FIBA 3×3 World Ranking will showcase their skills in front of Abu Dhabi basketball fans.

The 3×3 basketball event concept it’s not only dedicated to the players. All the spectators, families and basketball friends, are invited to be part of this sport experience. DJ scratching all day long, contests for spectators, kids area and other side-events will generate a lot of fun for all the family members.
