Al Wahda goes to the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final

Team Al Wahda won the first FIBA 3×3 World Tour Masters of the year, beating Manila North, 21-14 in the final of the tournament held in Robinson’s Place, in Manila.

Representing the UAE in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour, Al Wahda got the tickets for the big Final that will be held in Abu Dhabi, October 15-16 and they will be joined by the finalists, Manila North. 

The reigning champs of the World Tour were absolutely dominant, as the 14 points scored by the Philippine team in the final were the most conceded in one game by Dusan Bulut and his teammates during the whole tournament.

In the final act, Manila North had no answer for Dejan Majstorovic, who was the top scorer with 10 points, while the number one 3×3 player in the world Dusan Domovic Bulut had 9 points.

In the semifinals, Al Wahda dismantled Team Doha, featuring 3×3 World Champion Yaseen Musa and former NBA second-round pick Tanguy Alban in a game finished 21-13.

Next stop for the FIBA 3×3 World Tour will be Prague, August 8-9, followed by Beijing, August, 15-16. The season will conclude in Abu Dhabi, which will host the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final on October 15-16.
