Abu Dhabi 3×3 Challenger and Abu Dhabi 3×3 Basketball Tour, the two competitions organized with the support of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, were offered as a best practice example at the FIBA 3×3 promoters’ reunion in Lausanne. 

The meeting of the most important promoters took place during the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Masters and was conducted by Alex Sanchez, FIBA 3×3 director, who also attended the Abu Dhabi 3×3 Challenger in May.

The success of the 3×3 basketball program in Abu Dhabi determined FIBA to invite the organizers to present their story in front of the other participants from France, Brasil, Argentine, Singapore, Qatar, Switzerland and other countries.

The new season of Abu Dhabi 3×3 Basketball will start in October, when the capital city of UAE will host the most important event of the year, the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final.

The event will take place on October 15-16, in Nation Towers parking and will feature the best 3×3 basketball teams in the world and top class entertainment.
