Dusan Domovic Bulut, the winner of the FIBA 3×3 World Tour and FIBA 3×3 All Stars last year, together with Angel Santana, the FIBA 3×3 European Champion will be part of the first edition of ABU DHABI 3X3 BASKETBALL TOUR.

Bulut will join his teammates from team Novi Sad, Dejan Majstorovic the world number one, Marko Savic and Marko Zdero (3 and 4 in the World Raniking),  while Angel Santana, the world number 5, will be starring in the Abu Dhabi team, together with local stars of 3×3 basketball.

The first tournament of the Abu Dhabi 3×3 Basketball Tour will take place at the Marina International Yachting Club parking, on 12-13 March and will almost 100 teams playing in all age categories.

This year Abu Dhabi became the capital of 3×3 basketball, once the Abu Dhabi Sports Council signed an agreement with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) to host the next two editions of the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final, 2015 and 2016.

The road to Abu Dhabi will start in different corners of the world, with players taking part in local and regional tournaments, trying to qualify for the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Masters and further on to the big final.

Abu Dhabi 3×3 Basketball Tour is also part of the FIBA Competition Network and offers everybody the chance to become a star of the 3×3 basketball world. The Tour will comprise of four regular tournaments and one Final and will provide everybody a chance to have fun, play basketball and win prizes.

The participants at the Open men category have the chance to be selected in the Abu Dhabi Team that will play this year in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour.

Side activities like contests for spectators, music, basketball clinics and many more will offer every member of the family an opportunity to have fun and enjoy the atmosphere all day long.

The Tour will bring 3×3 basketball to the players, with the tournaments being organized in iconic urban places from Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Gharbia, for the first part of the year. The Tour will reach more destinations during the second part of 2015 and in 2016.
